Jay left a comment asking about the guy I started dating so I thought I'd elaborate on the guy situation... I was seeing a guy I met at work and he's very nice and funny. We dated for about 2 or 3 months actually but I just recently broke up with him. The main reason was because he never had any money. It was so annoying. I mean, he has a few kids and he has to pay child support for one reason and then of course he pays rent and stuff so I understand why he doesn't have any money, but he also doesn't have a car. So, he was expecting me to pick him up for work whenever we worked together which was a lot. We never went out, we always sat in the house cause I'm certainly not paying for him at the movies or whatever and he never even offered me gas money. You see, we don't make much money where we work and although I'm so happy to have the job as a stepping stone until I can get eventually get a better one when probation and drug court are finished, but he's been working there for years and he doesn't have a criminal record like I do. So, he has no reason to still be working there and that just tells me that he doesn't have much motivation to better himself so unless I want to settle (which I don''t), then there is really no future with him. And, let's be honest, I'm 39 years old with no kids. So, I don't have a lot of time to be wasting in dead end relationships. It's a little awkward that we still have to work together, but oh well. Anyway, I play in the football pool every week at work and so far today after the morning and afternoon games I am still in contention to win the 200 dollar prize. Fingers crossed. Wish me luck!!!
